Singers of high school age and above are encouraged to audition.

The Audition:

Interested singers will be asked to demonstrate the following:

1. Vocalization to determine range and voice type;

2. Test of pitch and rhythmic memory - can you recall short and simple melodic and
rhythmic patterns?

3. Singers who have some music reading skills will be asked to sight-read a simple
melody accompanied by the piano;

4. A solo song (recommended but not required) – 32 bar cut with piano accompaniment;Sing something you LOVE to sing! Suggested repertoire: folk song, art song, musical theater song.
NOTE: No lead sheets; mark any cuts; bring the piece in the key in which you intend to sing. Pianist is provided.

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 6:45 p.m. to 9:00 pm, at
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church

Members pay annual dues, pay for their music, and volunteer their time. Members are encouraged to assist in fundraising, promotional,
educational, and other support activities.
